Amanda Mallwitz

Amanda discovered yoga over 10 years ago while working a fast paced, mentally and emotionally demanding job. Her employer brought in a yoga instructor for a lunchtime yoga class and Amanda was hooked. She quickly realized how beneficial yoga could be to her physical and mental wellbeing, as well as her mindfulness.

Amanda enrolled in an immersive Yoga Teacher Training at a Buffalo yoga studio that would come to feel like her home. After graduation, Amanda began teaching at the same studio and soon realized how strong her passion for teaching was. Over the last five years she has brought yoga in and out of the studio, bringing yoga everywhere she can. Indoors or outdoors, Amanda strives to bring community connection, exploration and a safe atmosphere at her various pop-up events.

Amanda focuses on creating a welcoming and inclusive space for ALL bodies. She will help guide you inward on your journey to balance your mind, body and soul. You can expect to move and breathe within a dynamic practice with thoughtful cues to help assist your journey. You will warm up all parts of your body, all while you learn more about your own intuition. Amanda’s favorite style of yoga is Vinyasa but she also offers Yin, Restorative, SUP Yoga, sound healing and Yoga Nidra. Amanda’s soulful laidback style will put you at ease whether it’s your first class or 100th.

Amanda is so excited to be apart of the Vireva Yoga Community and welcome everyone to the newest studio, Breathe!
